This device is suitable for DIN rail and electrically pluggable by means of 2 supplied clamps. Under certain conditions, you may 'bridge' outputs so that you have, for example, 200 watts on 'warm white' and 200 watts on 'cool white' (24VDC) on a Tunable White profile. You can optionally offer a DALI signal or a 230VAC push button on the side input.

if you need a 24V power supply you will find it in our Snappy collection.

After this LED strip dimmer has been added to your network in the desired profile, you can double click on the icon in the lamp field and scroll down. You will then see many parameters that you can change if the standard operation is not quite right for you. The chosen Casambi profile always entails different parameters. Pay attention; if you disconnect the device from your network again, all parameters will be reset to the factory values. In the tab "explanation" is the glossary.

bridging;
By linking the outputs according to the diagrams below, you can combine powers of the outputs (power expansion).

PWM frequency (default 976 Hz)
Sometimes you can suffer from strobe effect, for example with different camera shutter speeds, you can try different PWM frequencies. This change will not be noticeable to us, but as a test you could set your mobile phone to 'VIDEO' and point it at the LED strip.

Dimming Curve (default 1000)
The default value is logarithmic (1000). As you can see in the diagram, the first steps of the logarithmic scales are smallest at log (1000) with low brightness, and at log (100) they are still quite small. This could initially give the impression that "little happens" in the lower area. This is different with the linear characteristic curve, where the brightness steps can even appear a little step-like due to the larger gain in value. The best choice is found under the local conditions and the actual brightness of the environment. It is therefore advisable to try out the characteristic curves to use the most suitable one.

Fade time (default 0,2 sec.)
The Casambi app itself already provides an adjustable fade time at network level, but this device offers the possibility to set your own fade time. This means that if you set the fade time to 100 sec. and gives an 'all off' command via Casambi all lights will go out with the set fade time of the network but that the 100 sec. of this dimmer are respected. An example here could be a home cinema. Suppose all lights in 3 sec. off, this LED strip dimmer can dim the stair lighting back in 100 seconds.

Minimum level (default 0,1%)
You can enter a minimum dimming value for each output. You probably already knew that if you really slide the dimming slider in the lamp field all the way to the left, the lights will eventually go out (that is Casambi's own).

Maximum level (default 100%)
You can enter a maximum dimming value per output.

Calibration (default 100%)
Suppose a channel does just a little too much, then you can calibrate that channel. An example could be that if you choose the RGB+W profile and the red portion is too intense, you can slightly temper the red output by decreasing the percentage value.

Tunable White Ratio CW (default 100%)
You can set the ratio of the cold channel separately, which means that if you shift from warm to white, it will take a very long time before a white portion becomes observable. You have to imagine that the center point of the vertical (TW) slider is shifted.

Tunable White ratio WW (default 100%)
You can set the ratio of the warm channel separately, which means that if you slide from white to warm, it will take a very long time before a warm part becomes perceptible. You must imagine that the center point of the vertical (TW) slider is shifted.

Tunable White maximum level (default 100%)
Here it is possible to assign a maximum dimming value to the total TW lumen output.

Tunable White ext. Brightness (default 100%)
Color value remains the same, but the brightness is changed. Color saturation at brightness 100%.

Push button style (default 'Arditi')
The input of the Push button is 230V, can only use this option if you don't use a Dali input. If this option is set to 'Casambi', the push input will work as you are used to with Casambi and can therefore also be assigned to other lamps or groups.

Push button white mode (RGBW-only / standard Neutral white)
You can use the 230V push button as usual in the app and dim or switch the LED strip. If you give a double short click, the LED strip will immediately switch to white according to the 2 set values (described below). If you give a short double click afterwards, the LED strip will return to its previous state. Example; LED strip lights up 50% red. You give a double click, strip goes to white. You double click again and the strip goes to red. You keep the button pressed and the red color will dim. You give a short pulse and the red color goes out.

White mode level (RGBW-only / standard 255)

If you are going to use the option above, you can set a dimming value here. 255 Stands for 100%.

Push button ext. Brightness (default 100%)
Color value remains the same, but the brightness is changed. Color saturation at brightness 100%.
