What is for sale and what does Casambi cost?
Both the Casambi app software and all Casambi firmware are free! The manufacturers pay Casambi a small fee per device that they put on the market. Does that make Casambi devices more expensive? No, Casambi lamps, dimmers, drivers, etc. are very affordable and in most cases even cheaper than other 'smart' products! There is a very large choice of Casambi hardware components. Our Casambi collections are structured as follows;

Casambi 230V dimmers
Phase dimming, or direct dimming of lamps with 230V, is still popular. However, if you are busy with renovation or new construction and can still choose everything freely, there are better ways to dim such as Casambi Constant Current drivers.

Casambi Signal Interfaces
Interfaces make it possible to control DALI systems from the Casambi app, such as a group of spots or a rail with DALI spots. But also DMX and 0-10V can be converted. The other way around is also possible, for example from DALI to Casambi.

Casambi Constant Current drivers
These drivers are easy to connect and directly supply LED light sources. In this case, you buy LED light sources without a driver somewhere and connect them to the output of our drivers, but only after you have checked whether the currents, voltages and powers match. This way of dimming is much better and more stable than dimming using traditional old-fashioned 230V dimmers.

Casambi LED strip dimmers and drivers
LED strip dimmers offer a solution for every situation where LED strips are used. Most of these types of devices must be connected to a 24VDC power supply (since your LED strip is 24V). However, there are also Casambi LED strip dimmers that have a built-in power supply and you can therefore directly connect 230V to them.

Casambi Switch Contacts (On-Off)
With switch contacts you can turn lights on and off and therefore not dim them! But you can also connect patio heating and set it in the Casambi app so that the heating switches off automatically after 2 hours. There are various models, such as waterproof, for in a flush-mounted box or, for example, above a suspended ceiling. Light team even makes a device with 8 switching outputs!

Casambi Enocean Switches
A Casambi Enocean switch briefly converts kinetic (motion) energy into electrical (transmission) energy when you press a button and therefore requires no battery, no 230V and therefore no flush-mounted box! In the Casambi app you can link buttons to lamps, scenes, groups, etc. Using the supplied double-sided adhesive foil, you can stick the switches where you want, or, for example, include them in your existing or new switch program such as JUNG, GIRA, BUSCH JAEGER, etc. We have a separate one Enocean Blog

Other Casambi keypads such as handheld remotes.
In this collection you will find all other Casambi keypads such as Casambi handheld transmitters, wall transmitters and also designer remote controls for the table.

Casambi Push Button Interfaces.
It often happens that someone wants switches in their home from a strange brand that does not participate in Casambi collections. In that case, you can buy impulse printers from that particular brand. These are actually normal switches, but with a spring contact. That spring contact can be connected to one of our 'switch interfaces'.

Casambi Sensors.
Sensors are devices that can detect a change in their environment and then create a light scene. Many sensors respond to movement, but nowadays there are also Casambi sensors that can detect sound, vibration, opening doors (magnet contact), Radar (looks right through walls). Most sensors also measure illuminance (Lux). In the Casambi app you can automatically dim lights up and down.

Casambi Repeaters.
There may be an area where the Casambi signal is weak, causing 'island formation'. You can then connect these 'islands' by using an extra powerful repeater. But you can also add something else from the collection because ultimately all hard-wired devices are a repeater!

Casambi Blind switches.
With a Venetian blind switch you can connect electric sun blinds, curtains, swimming pool canopies, etc. and then operate them from the lamp field or with a linked switch. Please note that the motors must be wired, i.e. there is an UP wire and a DOWN wire. It is even possible to create a scene 'Everything off', for example, where all lights go out and then the sun blinds also move in!

Casambi Light Sources.
There are countless light manufacturers worldwide who offer Casambi as standard or optional in their products. However, there are also manufacturers who equip 'normal' E27 lamps with Casambi technology. This means that Casambi is already in the lamp itself. The collection includes Tunable White, RGBTW or even designer Filament lamps

Clock Backup.
If you program Casambi timers in the app, the on and off switching times are stored in all components as well as the current time. It is even possible to have just one Casambi device that, for example, switches the garden lighting so that it works all year round without you having to do anything.
If the power to your house goes off and comes back on later, the switch still knows the switching times except for the current date and time. If you have your phone nearby, there is nothing to worry about, because the app will open within 1 second. bring the switch back up to date and time. But if there is no telephone nearby, 'someone has to tell the time'! And that's what Clock Backups are for.

Casambi Voice control.
Estol and RB-technik are companies that provide Casambi Voice control. You can then shout; "Alexa, living room on!" It is even possible to recall the evoked scene in percentages such as; 'Alexa, living room 50%!'

Casambi Gateways.
If you create a SHARED NETWORK, your network is also automatically and free of charge stored in the secure Casambi Cloud, with multiple backups automatically made. The Casambi Cloud also makes it possible to operate the network from outside. You can then control lights and curtains at home from your holiday or work address. A 'gateway' is required to establish the link between the Casambi cloud (internet) and the Bluetooth network (local).

Touch Panels.
Touch panels are usually made of glass or another smooth material that is easy to clean. iPads can be placed perfectly on the wall with special cradles and are therefore also ideal as a design touch panel. An additional advantage when using an iPad is that it can also serve as a definitive Casambi Gateway!
